The booth workflow, minus the rented scanner
Survtapp is a trade show lead capture app that runs on your own iPads and Android devices. Reps scan attendee QR badges, score each conversation with stars and notes, and export the ranked list to CSV before the follow-up window closes. The free plan covers 100 captures a month, and capture keeps working when the hall Wi-Fi fails.

What does the booth workflow look like?
A conversation ends, the rep scans the visitor’s badge, taps a star score, dictates two lines of notes, and is free for the next visitor — the whole capture takes seconds and happens on the device already in the rep’s hand.
By the time the show closes, the follow-up list is already ranked: the five-star conversations at the top with the notes that make Tuesday’s call specific, the badge-drop crowd at the bottom.
Why does offline matter at a trade show?
Exhibition halls are exactly where connectivity dies — concrete, steel, and ten thousand phones on the same access points. Survtapp treats offline as normal: captures queue on the device with their timestamps and sync when the connection returns. A dead zone slows nothing at the booth and loses nothing afterwards.
How fast can I follow up?
Same day. Export your leads to CSV at any point — including mid-show — and hand your CRM a ranked, annotated list while competitors are still waiting for the rental provider’s post-event export.
This page is part of the Survtapp event lead capture guide — also see lead retrieval, without the rental counter, badge scanning with nothing to rent, event lead capture, end to end. Plans and allowances are on the pricing page; organizers should start with Survtapp for event organizers.
Questions, answered plainly
How many devices can my booth team use?
Every plan lists its device allowance on the pricing page; devices within your allowance never cost extra. Reps sign in on their own phones or the booth’s tablets.
Can I score leads at the booth?
Yes — each capture takes a star score and free-text notes, so the list ranks itself while the conversation is still fresh.
The hall Wi-Fi is terrible. Will I lose leads?
No. Captures queue on the device with their original timestamps and sync automatically when connectivity returns.
When can I export my leads?
Any time, including during the show. Exports are CSV with scores, notes and timestamps included.
Do I pay per event?
No per-event rental. Your Survtapp plan is a normal monthly subscription, and the same setup works at your next show.
Can the event organizer run the badges through Survtapp?
Yes — organizers import the attendee CSV, generate QR badges, and manage exhibitors from the Survtapp console. Point yours at the For Event Organizers page.
